Purity tested. Identity confirmed. Every lot.

Every lot clears 98% purity. Check any one yourself.

One lot, start to finish

What a Valar lot goes through before it ships.

This is a real lot, currently on the shelf. Five separate tests, run by a laboratory that is a different company to this one, with the result filed under a key you can look up on their site.

BPC-157, 10 mg
Lot BPC194522  ·  Key NGL-2026-Q0FP2X
99.30%Purity, HPLC
ConformsIdentity, LC-MS
  • Purity, by HPLC

The sample is separated on a column so anything that is not the peptide shows up as its own peak. This lot came back 99.30% against a specification of 98.0% minimum.

  • Identity, by LC-MS

Purity alone cannot tell you which molecule you are looking at. Mass spectrometry weighs it and checks that weight against BPC-157. This lot conforms.

  • Water content, by Karl Fischer

Lyophilised peptide pulls in moisture, and moisture is mass that is not peptide. This measures how much of the vial is water.

  • Heavy metals, by ICP-MS

Catches elemental contamination carried over from synthesis or from the equipment, at levels chromatography would not see.

  • Endotoxin, by LAL

A bacterial contamination check that is separate from purity entirely. This lot came back < 10 EU/mg.

Open this certificate at Novagen
Certificate of analysis issued by Novagen Analytical Laboratories to Valar Peptides, verification key NGL-2026-Q0FP2X
The certificate for this lot, as it sits in Novagen’s register. It is issued and hosted by them, not by us, which is the reason it is worth anything.
Every other current lot

The same five tests, on everything else on the shelf.

Every key opens its own certificate in Novagen’s register. None of them are hosted here.

Every lot we hold is listed, not a selected best few. The figures are not identical to each other because real chromatography does not produce identical figures, and a lot is published whether it came back at the top of this list or the bottom of it.

Why the number can be trusted

A purity figure on its own is only half an answer.

Purity says how much of the contents is the dominant compound. It does not say which compound that is. Both questions get answered on every Valar lot.

HPLC

How clean is it?

Measures how much of the contents is the dominant compound, reported as a percentage against a 98.0% minimum.

LC-MS

What is it?

Measures the molecular mass and confirms the compound is the one printed on the label.

A sample can be 99% pure and still be 99% of the wrong molecule. A purity test on its own cannot catch that. Only an identity test can.

This is why every figure in the list above is published beside an LC-MS confirmation, rather than as a percentage on its own.

Who does the testing

The lab that signs the result is not us.

This is the part that decides whether any of the numbers on this page are worth reading, so it is worth being specific about.

  1. 1The batch is made and given a lot numberPrinted on the vial you receive.
  2. 2A sample goes to Novagen Analytical LaboratoriesA separate company, with its own premises and its own name on the report.
  3. 3The five tests are runHPLC for purity, LC-MS for identity, Karl Fischer for water, ICP-MS for heavy metals, LAL for endotoxin.
  4. 4The result is published under a verification keyIn Novagen’s register, on their domain. We do not host it and we cannot edit it.
The Valar Peptides building, unit 58, with the company name on the front of the unit
Valar Peptides, unit 58. The testing is not done here. It is done by Novagen, a separate company at its own address, which is the whole point of the four steps.
Before a first order

The questions people actually ask.

QHow do I know this certificate isn't recycled from a different batch?

Each certificate is issued against one lot number and carries it on the document. The key on your vial resolves to that lot, not to a generic file. A different lot has a different key.

QAnyone can make a PDF. How do I know the lab is real?

Novagen Analytical Laboratories is a separate business with its own address and its own public register. You look the key up on their site rather than ours, and the document comes back from them. A key that resolves to nothing was never issued.

QThe purity was 99%. Ninety-nine per cent of what?

That is exactly what the identity test answers, and it is why we do not publish a purity figure on its own. LC-MS confirms the molecular mass matches the compound named on the label before the purity figure means anything.

QWhat happens to the certificates if this website goes down?

Nothing. They are not ours to take down. They sit in Novagen's register under their domain, which is the point of publishing them somewhere we do not control.

Start with a certificate. Then pick a product.

The catalogue lists what is in stock, and every lot carries the key to its own report.
